A simple cash back program
Flat rate cashback cards can be ideal for people who want to earn rewards but don't want to deal with a complex rewards program.
When You Use Wells Fargo Active Money®Card, you don't need to activate your rewards, follow changing categories, or consider which categories offer bonus rewards. Instead, you simply get 2% unlimited cashback on all purchases, a good rate for a flat rate rewards card.
You'll use the Wells Fargo Rewards program to redeem your cash rewards, and you can do this in several ways:
- Cover card purchases.You can use your cash rewards to earn a credit towards a purchase made with Wells Fargo Active Cash®Card. Redemptions start at $1, but you must have enough rewards to cover the entire transaction.
- Pay debts.You may use Cash Back Rewards toward paying down the principal balance on a Wells Fargo mortgage, loan, or other qualifying credit product. Redemption must be done in instalments of $25 and you may still need to make your regular payment.
- Get cash back.Order a check or have your rewards deposited directly into an eligible Wells Fargo checking or savings account in $25 increments. Or use a Wells Fargo debit card or ATM to withdraw your rewards or transfer them to an eligible account from Wells Fargo in installments of $20.

Adding to its simplicity and value, Wells Fargo Active Cash®The card has no annual fee. And new cardholders can take advantage of several competitive introductory offers:
- Earn $200 cash rewards after making purchases of $1,000 within 3 months of opening your account.
- Get 0% introductory APR on qualifying purchases and balance transfers for 15 months from account opening. After the introductory period ends, a variable APR of 18.74%, 23.74% or 28.74% will apply.
Introductory APRs on qualifying purchases and balance transfers last 15 months from account opening. You can use these interest rate offers to finance a large purchase or pay off debt that you transfer without accruing interest.
Please note that the introductory 0% balance transfer APR only applies to balance transfers requested within 120 days of opening your account. After the promotional period ends, your card's variable APR will be applied to all remaining balances. The balance transfer fee is 3% for the first 120 days, then up to 5% with a minimum of $5 in any case.
Other cards may offer longer promotional interest rate introductory periods, but few also have a high fixed rate reward rate.
Cell phone protection and other benefits
